1 tbsp oil or ghee

½ tsp mustard seeds

1 dried red chili

8–10 curry leaves

1 green chili, slit

½ tsp turmeric

2 tbsp lemon juice

Salt to taste

🥘 How to Cook Lemon Rice

Cook the Rice
Boil Capital Creamy Economy Rice until fluffy. Spread on a plate to cool slightly.
This prevents it from becoming mushy when mixing. -
Prepare the Tempering
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, red chili, and curry leaves. Once they splutter, add green chili and turmeric. -
Combine with Rice
Add the cooked rice and salt, mixing gently to coat every grain evenly. -
Add Lemon Juice
Turn off the flame and drizzle fresh lemon juice. Stir lightly. -
Finish and Serve
