Our Story

A L Overseas Pvt Ltd stands as one of the foremost basmati rice millers and exporters in India, dedicated to processing the finest quality of various basmati rice types within our facility. We proudly hold the status of being a government-recognized Star Export House. Our journey in the food grain industry commenced in 1950 under the name of Asa Ram Lakhmi Chand, operating as a small-scale trading company. However, the pivotal turning point occurred in 1977 when we expanded our trading business and established a small-scale rice mill named Heller. Since then, there has been no looking back. In 1997, we further elevated our production capacity by inaugurating a new semi-automatic plant under the banner of A L Overseas, Delhi. By the year 2018, a state-of-the-art, fully automated Basmati Rice Processing plant was established in the heart of Haryana's Basmati Rice fields, operating under the banner of A L Overseas Pvt Ltd. This marked a significant milestone in our journey, solidifying our commitment to excellence and innovation. Now we are ready to take the next step in our journey and have launched our brand ”CAPITAL” to bring the authentic taste of basmati to all households. We understand the importance of hygiene, processing and packaging in the rice. Accordingly, we believe in mechanized processing, which means that at no stage, is the rice touched by bare hands.
